Even though MSNBC and CNN are still characterizing Arizona as too early to call, Fox News has now called Arizona for Joe Biden. This is a big deal, because if Fox is right about this – and we think they are – then it means Biden is still on track to likely win. It turns out Donald Trump isn’t happy about this.

Jim Acosta of CNN and Jonathan Swan of Axios are reporting that Donald Trump and his campaign are “furious” at Fox News for having called the state for Arizona. It’s notable that Team Trump is directing its anger at Fox News over this, because while it’s been pretty clear for a couple hours now that Biden would very likely win Arizona, Trump was apparently hoping to go into tomorrow morning being able to brag that Biden hadn’t yet flipped a single state.

Joe Biden’s win in Arizona means that he now has multiple paths to victory, and he merely has to win the states where he has solid polling leads (as opposed to narrow leads or toss ups). And again, the current “red mirage” numbers you’re seeing on your TV screen from Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania are gibberish because they’re heavily skewed toward same-day voting for now. Those numbers will change dramatically later tonight or tomorrow.
