Melania Trump is now talking divorce
Melania Trump still can’t seem to bring herself to directly refute Donald Trump’s antics or directly call him out. Instead she’s been using a number of indirect methods – from a confusing message on a jacket to often refusing to hold his hand in public – to voice her displeasure in vague and muddled fashion. But now we’re seeing something else going on. Melania is speaking publicly and viciously about Donald; she’s just doing it through a friend.
Earlier we brought you the story of how a source close to Melania Trump told entertainment industry publication Hollywood Life that Melania found Donald’s antics “appalling” after John McCain’s death. To be clear, people close to a public figure only go running to the media with these kinds of quotes if the public figure has instructed them to. It’s a way for someone like Melania to get her thoughts out there publicly, without having to attach her own name to it – and she just did it again.
Once again, an unnamed source close to Melania Trump has run to Hollywood Life and shared Melania’s thoughts. This time the source says that “Divorce is very much a real option, and Melania is holding her breath until his term is over so she can make all the best decisions about her and Barron’s future.” So Melania has gone from wanting us all to know that she finds Donald “appalling,” to now wanting us all to know that she wants to divorce the guy. The timing here is interesting.
Why is Melania Trump suddenly floating the idea of divorcing Donald Trump when his term ends? With his criminal scandals rapidly coming crashing down on him, Trump may not be in office much longer. So it’s notable that Melania has chosen now to publicly put the word “divorce” out there. Is she already setting the stage? Donald appears to have zero interest in Barron, but his narcissism would likely prompt him to fight for custody – unless he’s too busy fending off felony indictments and criminal trials on a federal and/or state level once he’s ousted.
