Disastrous news for Trump attorney Alina Habba
Donald Trump’s attorney Alina Habba keeps putting on one disastrous performance after another, whether it’s in the courtroom or on camera. Recently Habba was fired by Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg, forcing Donald Trump to supply Weisselberg with a different attorney. At the time we wondered if it was a sign that Trump was moving on from Habba, or even trying to set her up to take the fall in all of this.
Now it turns out Trump is apparently indeed hanging Alina Habba out to dry. Trump has just been forced to reach a new settlement with a Trump property employee who was allegedly conned into an illegitimate prior hush money settlement. The new settlement protects Trump from further litigation in the matter, but legal experts think it fully exposes Habba – who was involved in the original settlement – to further litigation from the alleged victim.
So now Alina Habba may be about to get eaten alive by the legal system as a result of a Donald Trump scheme to silence someone. Trump sure does like letting his attorneys take the fall for him. Each new Trump attorney is certain that he or she won’t fall victim to the same pattern. Yet Trump apparently just set up Habba to take the fall in one of his scandals.
