“Desperately seeking lawyers”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald John Trump (also known as Individual One) is an elastic, stretched to the point of futility, about to snap. There is no way Trump is getting out of any of this. And he knows it. So too, apparently, do many attorneys. Because reportedly, Donald Trump cannot find anyone to represent him.

“Desperately seeking lawyers.” Reportedly Trump’s been reaching out to law firms before his Tuesday arraignment. Only nobody wants his case. One attorney in Florida had the following to say: “The problem is none of us want to work for the guy.”

Well, that’s telling it like it is. “My wife would divorce me, and my kids wouldn’t talk to me if I defended Trump,” said another. The reasons are pretty obvious. The man doesn’t pay his bills; he constantly does exactly what he’s told NOT to do, and he is the worst human being any lawyer could ever represent.

If you were an attorney, would YOU want to get entangled with the likes of Donald Trump? Todd Blanche, as of the time of this writing, is Trump’s only lawyer for the case in Florida. One lone lawyer. How sad for the Donald.

But reportedly, Donald Trump has not given up! He is still reaching out to law firms, and who knows? Perhaps he’ll get lucky and find one stupid enough to agree to represent him. In the meantime, everyone is saying Trump is toast. Nobody thinks this is a remotely good case that could end in Trump’s favor, and judging by the frantic excuses from prospective legal defense attorneys, the legal community also thinks he’s toast.

As for Judge Cannon, who cares? Not important. One interesting tidbit about her, though, is that both she and her husband are Ron DeSantis donors. Hmm. In the meantime, Trump has found himself abandoned by the legal community, whom, it would appear, would rather walk through fire than have anything to do with his stinker of a legal case.
