Democratic Florida Governor candidate Nikki Fried just slam dunked Ron DeSantis
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is as convinced as ever that his path to reelection in 2022 is to continue behaving like a Trump clone. But it’s not working out for him, both because Trump’s strategy of pandering to his extremist base at the expense of mainstream voters is a disastrous one (it cost Trump reelection), and because DeSantis is too much of a dummy to even pull off Trump’s one-dimensional shenanigans.
DeSantis is doing everything he can to make sure as many people get sick with COVID as possible, while simultaneously the hawking COVID treatment Regeneron, seemingly to make sure he can drive as much business for Regeneron as possible – and Floridians are starting to notice. His poll numbers keep dropping. Now he’s taken the particularly deranged step of standing next to a loon who was spouting anti-vaxxer conspiracy theories.
Fortunately, Florida Commissioner Nikki Fried – a Democrat who is running against DeSantis for Governor in 2022 – is pulling no punches. Fried ripped DeSantis to pieces during a recent interview:
