“Dementia Don” strikes again as Donald Trump goes on senile bender about Nevada

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump won the New Hampshire primary by just ten points over Nikki Haley, in the latest reminder that he’s not even popular within the Republican primary voting base. When he took the stage after his disappointingly narrow win, he had yet another senile moment, seemingly announcing that he’s already won in Nevada, even though the state hasn’t voted yet:

Trump may be attempting to refer to the fact that there’s bizarrely both a Nevada Republican caucus and a Nevada Republican primary. He’s running in one, Haley is running in the other, and they’re each expected to win the one they’re running in. But that’s not a “victory.” Nor did Trump already win it.

It’s okay for people at home to be confused about the Nevada primary vs caucus situation. But as a candidate in the race, Donald Trump should easily understand the fact that he and Haley are running in different races in the state. Then again, at this rate it’s possible that Trump actually thinks he’s already won Nevada. After all, he thinks Nikki Haley is Nancy Pelosi.
