Donald Trump posts embarrassing tweet, deletes it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this evening we brought you the story of how Donald Trump’s losing streak had gotten even worse for him. He held a rally for Matt Bevin, who lost. Then he attended an Alabama football game, and they lost. Tonight he encouraged everyone to vote for Sean Spicer on Dancing With the Stars, and he lost. Now the whole thing has taken a turn for the truly stupid.

After Sean Spicer was voted off the show, Donald Trump posted this tweet: “A great try by @seanspicer. We are all proud of you!” Okay, fair enough. But it turns out that when he posted this tweet, he also deleted his earlier tweet encouraging everyone to vote for Spicer. For reference, here’s what Trump deleted:

Vote for Sean Spicer on Dancing with the Stars. He is a great and very loyal guy who is working very hard. He is in the quarterfinals – all the way with Sean!

Donald Trump presumably deleted this tweet because he was trying to hide the fact that he couldn’t motivate his supporters to vote for Sean Spicer in sufficient numbers. But that insecure, narcissistic move has only ensured that more people will be made aware that Trump endorsed a loser, because his decision to delete the tweet is bringing far more attention to it. Trump has idiotically turned a non-story into a story.
