This evening we learned from ABC News that Michael Cohen has spent the past month selling out Donald Trump to Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the state of New York. If this news has left you thinking “Good for Michael Cohen,” it turns out you’re not alone. Michael Cohen himself just strangely tweeted “Good for Michael Cohen” before quickly deleting it. So what just happened here?

Here’s the full text of what Cohen tweeted from his official verified Twitter account at 7:54pm eastern time tonight: “Good for @MichaelCohen for providing critical information to the #MuellerInvestigation without a cooperation agreement. No one should question his integrity, veracity, or loyalty to his family or country over @POTUS @RealDonaldTrump.” Although he deleted the tweet just seconds later, we were able to capture a screen shot of it for reference:

More than a few people on Twitter noticed, and it set off a series of questions about what was going on. But then at 8:20pm, the same tweet was posted to the Twitter account for Cohen’s attorney Lanny Davis. A moment later, Davis offered this explanation: “I wrote a Tweet congratulating @MichaelCohen212 and sent text to him to Tweet to his much larger following – but was delayed posting myself so he posted first. All take a breath. I don’t control or have access to Mr. Cohen’s Twitter account. He is my client and my friend.” In any case, now that Cohen is in fact trying to help bring Donald Trump to justice, we agree: good for Michael Cohen.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
