Sean Hannity is in even deeper than we thought

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday we learned that Donald Trump’s longtime personal attorney/fixer Michael Cohen was also secretly an attorney for Fox News host Sean Hannity. This meant that Hannity failed to disclose this while he was reporting on scandals involving Trump and Cohen, and it raised questions about why he hwas that deeply involved in Trump’s legal troubles. Now we’re getting additional context which reveals Hannity is in much deeper than we first thought.

It turns out Sean Hannity is also a client of Jay Sekulow, who currently serves as Donald Trump’s Russia scandal lawyer. In addition, Hannity is also a client of Victoria Toensing, whom Trump recently tried to hire as an attorney, before having to give up due to a conflict of interest with a Trump-Russia witness. These new revelations make clear that Hannity’s use of Michael Cohen wasn’t some kind of one-off aberration. It’s part of a consistent pattern over the past year in which Trump and Hannity have been sharing the same legal team.

We still don’t know what all this adds up to. Hannity claimed yesterday that he merely asked Cohen for legal advice about real estate, and never did formally hire him as an attorney. If that’s the case, why did he also use other members of Trump’s legal team? Is Hannity so arrogantly careless that he was using Trump’s lawyers for unrelated matters out of pure fanboy-ism, and didn’t stop to think about how bad it would look? Or is Hannity as knee-deep in Donald Trump’s criminal scandals as his cartoonishly pro-Trump fake news agenda would seem to suggest?

Here’s another oddity: Sean Hannity hired Jay Sekulow in May of 2017. Donald Trump then hired Sekulow in June of 2017. Hannity also hired Toensing long before Trump tried to hire her. So in these two instances, Hannity wasn’t hiring Trump’s lawyers; Trump was hiring Hannity’s lawyers. What on earth have Trump and Hannity secretly been up to all this time?
