Donald Trump goes completely off the deep end after his path to reelection narrows significantly

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We’ll see how the vote tally in today’s Michigan Democratic primary contest ends up looking. The reality is that it’s an open primary, so an unknown number of pro-Trump Republicans will cast spoiler votes for Bernie Sanders today, just as they did in Michigan in 2016. But the polls suggest that Joe Biden is overwhelmingly popular in the state. That’s a problem if you’re Donald Trump, and you need to win Michigan to have any chance in 2020.

That’s probably why Donald Trump is melting down about the state right about now. See if you can figure out what he’s even trying to say here:

To be clear, not one word of this is true. Trump is talking about imaginary policy proposals that don’t even exist. Remarkably, this was Trump’s second attempt, after he typed “automobils” the first time. This entire tweet reads like it was written by a Russian bot. “Michigan Plus” is just weird. But the bottom line is that Trump is scared to death of facing Joe Biden – and as Biden continues to lock down the nomination, Trump’s path to reelection is narrowing significantly.
