Joe Biden just threw down the debate gauntlet

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Despite having left the hospital last night in deranged fashion, Donald Trump still has coronavirus. He’s still contagious, and he’s rather psychotically spreading it to everyone in his path. Accordingly, Joe Biden has announced that he will not be in Trump’s path.

Joe Biden announced to the media this evening that he will not show up for any future debate with Donald Trump, as long as Trump still has coronavirus. Medical experts suggest that someone under Trump’s circumstances will remain contagious for at least as long as he remains ill, and for 14 to 20 days thereafter. That’s likely to span most or all of the remainder of the presidential election.

In other words, we’re probably not going to see any more in-person presidential debates, and Donald Trump will have to decide whether he’s willing to do them virtually. This is the right move on Joe Biden’s part. He can’t risk being exposed to the virus by Trump, who at this point is resembling Typhoid Mary.
