Death threats escalate as Jim Jordan’s attempted House takeover spirals further out of control
Jim Jordan keeps losing even more votes each time he runs for Speaker of the House, and he’s now actively sabotaging the Interim Speaker in an attempt at forcing House Republicans to reluctantly vote for Jordan. At this point it’s fair to say that Jordan is attempting a (badly failing) hostile takeover of the House.
To give you an idea of just how insanely out of control Jordan’s failing candidacy is, one House Republican announced last night that she’d received a credible death threat from a Jordan supporter because she dared to vote against him.
Now House Republican Ken Buck has announced that he’s received four different death threats as a result of voting against Jim Jordan. This is utterly deranged. Death threats are the opposite of democracy and should never happen under any circumstances, ever.
Jim Jordan isn’t the one sending these death threats. But he’s the one pushing the kind of unhinged rhetoric that he has to know is goading his mentally unstable supporters into making these death threats. This is the same Jim Jordan who helped incite a deadly attack against the United States in an attempt at overthrowing the government. Lock him up.
