Darkness falls on the GOP

Darkness is a curtain, swallowing up the smoldering sun and drenching one in candles of murkiness. For Republicans in the House, darkness has fallen on them. And they know it too, as evidenced by — by — a – secret phone call. It’s not so secret anymore.

According to Politico, a phone call was made. A phone call to warn republicans — that darkness was falling. The call came from Republican House leader, Mike Johnson, who contacted many house representatives. The call was grim, with Johnson warning these house members that “numbers are ominous” for keeping the House.

Well, this is certainly not good news for Republicans. Johnson having to ring them up in a private call to WARN them their majority might be on borrowed time is NOT good news, indeed it’s terrible news for the Republican House.

They barely hold the majority now. We must take it back. We WILL take it back. Other republicans are beginning to whisper among themselves, as panic sets in. One Republican said Democrats are “peaking at the right time.”

One thing Republican house members are reportedly worried about is money. It seems the Democrats are out raising Republicans bigly. And Republicans are pretty concerned about this.

They should be. Can you, dear reader think of ONE DAMN THING the House Republican caucus has done for its voters? I didn’t think so. Democrats, in the meantime, are fired up. Such a difference in the mood of the two parties! Such different extremes! One party is in the light, raining money, with polls on an upward trajectory. The other party has become a victim of falling darkness.
