Hawaii Five-0 star Daniel Dae Kim announced today that he’s tested positive for coronavirus, saying “Looks like I’ll be ok, but I wanted share my journey with you in the hopes that you find it informative or helpful.” He also posted a video in which he directly called out Donald Trump’s use of the racist term “Chinese Virus” while leaving out Trump’s name:

Daniel Dae Kim, whose family immigrated to the United States from South Korea in his youth, said this: “Yes, I’m Asian. And yes, I have coronavirus. But I did not get it from China. I got it in America, in New York City. And despite what certain political leaders want to call it, I don’t consider the place where it’s from as important as the people who are sick and dying.”
