Now we know why Robert Mueller gave immunity to Trump-Russia witness George Nader

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

In the time since the news broke that Special Counsel Robert Mueller gave Trump-Russia immunity to cooperating witness George Nader, the question was what made him so uniquely important. No one else who has cooperated, from George Papadopoulos to Michael Flynn, has received full immunity or anything close to it. Sure, Nader is important, but why is he different? Now we’re finally seeing that answer, based on newly reported revelations.

It’s already been established that George Nader helped set up the Seychelles meeting during the transition period between Donald Trump’s associate Erik Prince and the Russians. Nader’s close ties to the United Arab Emirates are certainly useful when it comes to Jared Kushner’s UAE pay-to-play scandal. But there had to be more to it for Mueller to decide that Nader will get a free pass for his role in the scandal, no matter what all he might have done wrong. It comes down to three words.

Follow the money. Nader sent millions of dollars on behalf of UAE to Elliott Broidy, who is a fundraiser for Donald Trump and a deputy chairman of the Republican National Committee, according to a new report from the Associated Press. The money was aimed at getting the United States to take a hardline stance against UAE’s rival Qatar. This is, in simple terms, bribe money. The involvement of Broidy suggests that this bribery involves not only Trump and his White House, but also the Republican Party itself.

This means that George Nader’s cooperation opens the door for Robert Mueller to not only take Donald Trump and his administration down for accepting cash bribes from foreign governments in exchange for control over U.S. foreign policy, but to also take down anyone in the Republican Party who knowingly took any share of this bribe money. No wonder Mueller gave Nader immunity.
