When I look at pictures of Greenland, I have to catch my breath in wonder. It is beautiful — it seems like a giant snow globe, an exquisite land of festivity and freedom with snow swirling all around it. Now, Palmer Report brought you the story of stalker Donnie just the other day. Trump wants Greenland so badly. That may explain why he just did what he did.
“US Homeland now includes Greenland after major shakeup by Pentagon.” Pete Hegseth has decided that Greenland will now be defended by American forces, not U.S. European command. Oh gee, I wonder why. The Pentagon claims
this move is part of a “broader review”, whatever that means. In a report on this matter, Hegseth is quoted saying the following:
“I think the American people would want the Pentagon to have plans for anything.” Would Trump try to annex Greenland? Sure, he would. Anything’s possible within the criminal mind of his. However, this changes nothing. Donald Trump won’t get Greenland, although it most certainly seems he is getting a bit more aggressive with the country.
It is most important to note that although Pete Hegseth and the Pentagon SAY this is part of a broader plan, NO other changes were announced on Tuesday. In the meantime, many are warning that this move risks alienating Greenland’s allies, many of whom are also supposed to be OUR allies.
Democratic Rep. Adam Smith of Washington had this to say: “I don’t think the American people voted for Donald Trump because they were hoping we would invade Greenland.” Indeed, they did not. But Trump’s wants and needs are limitless. And he has already shown that he doesn’t give a damn what the American people want.
