Trump White House scrambles to cover up coronavirus outbreak

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump has been hospitalized with coronavirus and is receiving multiple experimental drug treatments. Melania Trump, Hope Hicks, Kellyanne Conway, Claudia Conway, multiple Republican Senators, and Donald Trump’s bodyman have tested positive. The majority of Trump’s debate prep team has tested positive. Bill Barr is quarantining. Chris Christie is in the hospital.

So what is the Trump White House doing about this massive outbreak? Trying to cover it up, of course. Kaitlan Collins of CNN is reporting tonight that the Trump regime sent out an email to all White House staff, telling them that if they’re ill, they must go to their own personal doctor instead of the White House Medical Unit clinic.

In our view, the only reason to do this is to try to prevent any additional positive tests among White House staffers from being added to the official White House tally. If staffers test positive on their own instead of at the White House, perhaps no one will notice. This is utterly irresponsible, given the urgent need for contact tracing at the White House right now.
