Donald Trump caught in stunning new lie about coronavirus test kits
When Donald Trump held yet another pointless press conference today, the stock market took a swift nosedive, because investors like competence and Trump is anything but competent. Of course Trump is also a corrupt liar, and sure enough, he got caught in a stunning new lie about coronavirus test kits today.
Donald Trump is under fire because the United States is devastatingly far behind other nations when it comes to acquiring coronavirus test kits and putting them to use. Trump appears to have shunned opportunities to acquire test kits because he wanted to steer the business toward his corrupt cronies instead. Near the end of his press conference today, Trump asserted that the U.S. didn’t buy the World Health Organization certified test kits because they were a “bad test.”
This is an out-and-out lie. MSNBC host Joy Reid dug in and picked apart Donald Trump’s false claim. She documented that it was actually Trump’s own CDC that had the “bad” test kits, and that the WHO certified test kits that Trump refused to buy are working just fine.
