Cops and robbers
Many have wondered if the clash between red and blue states might lead to another Civil war. My take on this is no. It will not come to that. Donald Trump is done after this term, and anyway, we will not echo our descendants and have a Civil war. However, a Civil war is going on right now, though we have nothing to do with it.
This is the war between Elon Musk and the MAGA base. They are playing Cops and Robbers. My friends, it’s a nasty business. The cries from the two factions seem to get louder every hour. As you know, this started with the H-1B visas for foreign workers. Maga does not like these visas and does not support them, unlike Elon.
The other day, Trump appeared to support Musk, enraging many in Maga who are now questioning their dear leader and why he is letting Elon Musk who was never elected to anything, play Robber and steal the Presidency.
It seems everyone in the GOP is taking sides. Some of them are the cops, trying to take back the Presidency from Musk’s greedy little fingers. Some have fallen in with Musk. This is not a good look for a party that is supposed to be GOVERNING. But as you know, the Republican Party has not done all that much governing, and they do not seem to have the slightest idea how to do it.
The people against Elon. those MAGA creatures who think Musk is stealing the Presidency, accuse him of “pushing policies at odds with Trump’s American first vision.”
Elon Musk is getting angrier and angrier as he falls apart in frightening, insane ways (more on that in another article). EVERYONE appears to be losing their minds in GOP-VILLE. It’s a party with some very angry guests.
It is a mistake for Trump to take Musk’s side because sooner or later—probably sooner—the two will split. Their friendship will be over, as it breaks apart into splinters, never to be heard from again. It has to end that way. The room cannot have TWO narcissists inside it. Farewell Donald is coming for Musk, whether he wants to believe it or not.
But in the meantime — in the meantime, Trump has managed to piss off his base. That’s not good; he needs them because they’re the only people who trust(ed) him. However, now they’re lounging in a hot tub with the jet streams splashing hot rage,
So what to make of this situation? I would say that Musk seems to be intent on screwing up and stealing Trump’s presidency, Maga seems intent on having their way, and Donald Trump is blissfully ignoring ALL of it while his presidency crashes and burns before he’s even taken office.
