Conservative columnist defends Joe Biden
Joe Biden was facing a uniquely non-credible allegation, but he went on live national television this morning and thoroughly addressed it anyway, answering a long series of uncomfortable questions from Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski.
Now, conservative Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin is coming to Joe Biden’s defense:
I don't know what more the Biden camp could have hoped for. A long eloquent statement the press will be obliged to quote. Unequivocal denial and earnest appearance in tough interview. Everyone breaths a sigh of relief but it is easy when your guy is innocent
