Confused Donald Trump doesn’t even know where he’s at
If you’re barnstorming around the country in the final days of an election and you’re hitting multiple states a day, it’s perhaps understandable to lose track of what state you’re in. Of course you have people to help remind you of that kind of thing as you go.
But Donald Trump who has blown off so many events that he should easily be able to remember what state he’s in. Then again he’s blowing off events specifically because his cognitive abilities are failing him. Moreover, Trump is surrounded by some of the most inept people of all time.
How do we know this? Because when Trump tried doing an event in Georgia today, his campaign put a graphic next to the stage that says “North Carolina welcomes President Trump!” Wrong on both counts, since he wasn’t in North Carolina, and he isn’t the “President” of anything.
I’ve long said that when it comes to Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, his worsening senility is only half the problem. He’s surrounded by people who are so cartoonishly incompetent, they’re screwing it up as badly as he is.
