Donald Trump completely implodes
Short of tripping and falling into a well, just about everything is going wrong for Donald Trump right now that can go wrong for him. His poll numbers are as awful as ever, and he’s running out of time to turn things around. His scandals and bad headlines keep multiplying. And it’s increasingly clear that he’s not working with a full deck.
For instance, Trump seemed to think it was a good idea to post this errant tweet: “Biggest and Fastest Financial Recovery In History. Next year will be the best ever, unless a Sleepy person, who wants to massively raise your taxes, gets in. I’m which case, CRASH!!!” That’s right, he typed “I’m” instead of “In” – thus misspelling a two letter word. We all make typos; the President of the United States shouldn’t. Also, is he now afraid to use Biden’s name, or did he forget what Biden’s name is?
Trump also tweeted this: “Biden Underperforming! @OANN What else is new, the story of his life.” To be clear, Biden isn’t “underperforming” in the polls at all. Yet Trump is desperate to convince himself that he’s somehow secretly magically ahead of Biden, even though no one seems to “know” this secret beyond the tinfoil hat kooks he gets his fake news from.
Of course Donald Trump gave away the real story when he tweeted this last night: “A massive Disinformation Campaign is going on by the Democrats, their partner, the Fake News Media, & Big Tech. They create false stories and then push them like has never been done before, even beyond the 2016 Campaign. It imperils our Country, and must stop now. Victory 2020!” In his mind, everyone is now in a conspiracy against him. It’s his way of rationalizing why he’s failing.
