Come on, MSNBC and CNN!
Gas prices have now dropped every single day for more than a month straight. How many segments have CNN and MSNBC done about how President Biden has successfully brought gas prices under control?
I only ask because, back when gas prices were rising, daytime hosts on MSNBC and CNN did nonstop segments about how rising gas prices were President Biden’s problem. Even after gas prices began dropping, both networks still did daytime segments about “rising” gas prices. Now that gas prices have significantly dropped, it’s difficult to find any MSNBC or CNN coverage of gas prices at all.
We already know the extraordinarily dishonest games that Fox News likes to play with these kinds of narratives. But its audience is already voting Republican anyway. We must hold CNN and MSNBC – in particular their daytime hosts – accountable for playing these dishonest ratings games. It directly and dishonestly costs the Democratic Party votes. We need MSNBC and CNN to be more honest than that.
