What to watch for during North Korea summit: Donald Trump’s collapsing health
This week’s G7 Summit didn’t merely serve as a reminder that Donald Trump is a Russian puppet and a demented sociopath. It was also a reminder that Trump is in very poor, and deteriorating, physical and mental health. It’s a topic that the mainstream media inexplicably dropped after Trump’s since-disgraced doctor released an obviously phony medical report in January, declaring that he was in comically great health. But Trump’s G7 appearance suggested that he may be near death. Now he’s headed straight to Singapore.
Trump’s handlers tried to cover up his failing health during the G7 by having him arrive late, leave early, and only show up for portions of meetings. It’s the same tactic they tried to use during Trump’s Middle East trip last year. It didn’t work then, and it really isn’t working now. Trump lumbered around the G7 like a zombie who had trouble keeping his body upright. At times he was laboring to speak, and some observers on social media noticed that his left arm didn’t seem to be fully functioning.
All these physical issues with Donald Trump’s health were evident before getting to the part where he appeared to agree to the official G7 communique without knowing what was in it, only to throw a tantrum after finding out he’d inadvertently agreed to a condemnation of Russia. It’s not uncommon to see the President of the United States looking worn down due to overwork and long hours. But Trump does very little work to begin with. This year he’s very rarely appeared in public for more than brief moments here and there. Now that the multi-day G7 has exposed him, it’s clear that his health is in freefall.
Due to poor scheduling on his part, a half-dead Donald Trump is now traveling to the other side of the world to hold a North Korea summit in Singapore, in which all eyes will be on him. The summit itself is likely to be choreographed nonsense. Instead, keep an eye on Trump’s physical and mental condition as he tries to pull off his meeting with Kim Jong Un after the G7 summit nearly finished him off. Help fund Palmer Report
