Coke is it? Donald Trump has been ranting for the past fifteen hours

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We don’t know if Donald Trump has actually been periodically getting high on cocaine since he entered politics, or if he’s merely had stretches in which his behavior and symptoms have closely mirrored that of being high on cocaine. But we do know that Trump has been having one of those days today, because the lethargic and low energy dotard has been frantically and nervously ranting on Twitter for the past fifteen hours.

It all began this morning, when Donald Trump tweeted that he wished he’d picked someone other than Jeff Sessions to be Attorney General. This was a confession on his part that he chose Sessions with the expectation that Sessions would obstruct justice in order to personally protect him, which didn’t happen after Sessions recused himself. Then Trump attacked the New York Times, insisting that the newspaper doesn’t “get” him. From there it somehow got worse.

Trump couldn’t seem to figure out how to defend his supporter Roseanne Barr after her show got canceled due to her racist tweet. Instead, Trump posted this whiny and infantile pile of crap: “Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that “ABC does not tolerate comments like those” made by Roseanne Barr. Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC. Maybe I just didn’t get the call?” But he was just getting started.

All of the above was posted within the first four hours of Donald Trump’s day-long meltdown. Like a racist Energizer Bunny, he just kept going and going. By the end of it he was posting a quote from Joe DiGenova which insisted that Sessions’ decision to recuse himself was an “unforced betrayal of the President of the United States.” Trump seemed to have forgotten that earlier he announced DiGenova as his new attorney, only to have to call the whole thing off a week later. So is Trump coked out, or is he just so jittery about his future in prison, he’s merely acting coked out? Either way, he knows he’s hosed.
