CNN’s ridiculous anti-Biden story backfires
Welcome to the Great Ratings Collapse of 2021, where the major media outlets are struggling so badly post-Trump, they’re going to increasingly desperate and dishonest measures to try to keep the lights on and stay in business. Most of the time this centers around insisting Trump is about to make a magic comeback and take over, or phony scandals about Joe Biden. Unfortunately, CNN has become a poster child for this ugly phenomenon.
Earlier today CNN host Brianna Keilar, who used to be good at her job, posted this dishonestly staged story which makes false claims about the cost of milk, and includes a couple who appear to be consuming milk at humanly impossible levels:
"A gallon of milk was $1.99. Now it's $2.79. When you buy 12 gallons a week times four weeks, that's a lot of money."@EvanMcS goes grocery shopping with the Stotlers and shows us how badly inflation is hitting the middle class. pic.twitter.com/39hPPRHLja

Suffice it to say that the staged anti-Biden story went over poorly. Keilar’s tweet received thousands of negative replies, to the point that her name began trending. In response, Keilar’s CNN colleague Evan McMorris-Santoro tweeted that those responding negatively to the story were “assholes.” Keilar then retweeted McMorris-Santoro’s remark. Sadly, the CNN meltdown continues.
