CNN and MSNBC pull the plug on Donald Trump after he plays deranged propaganda video during press conference

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump opened his press conference today by making clear that he’s not firing Dr. Anthony Fauci. As Palmer Report explained last night, that was never going to happen, because Trump knows firing Fauci would send his approval rating hurtling downward, thus ending his already-weak chances of reelection. But after Trump moved past the Fauci thing, he went completely bonkers while discussing other topics.

Trump went on a completely incoherent meltdown involving Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chinatown that we can’t even begin to figure out how to parse. Then Trump began playing a lengthy propaganda video which pushed the false claim that he proactively shut the country down at the start of the coronavirus crisis. The video used out-of-context remarks from various people like Andrew Cuomo and Phil Murphy, who have in reality been very critical of Trump’s handling of the crisis.

CNN and MSNBC both cut away from the propaganda video, which was literally a Trump campaign commercial, and was full of false and misleading information. What’s remarkable is that Trump had just finished accusing Joe Biden of not being capable of writing his own campaign statements, and then Trump resorted to using a propaganda video during his press conference because he wasn’t capable of defending himself in his own words.
