CNN just defied Mike Pence’s blackmail threat

Earlier today CNN announced that Mike Pence was attempting to blackmail the network in to fully airing Donald Trump’s press briefings, by refusing to allow anyone on the coronavirus task force to do interviews with the network. CNN’s decision to expose Pence’s blackmail threat seemed to be a sign that CNN was not interested in complying.

Sure enough, we’re about ten minutes into today’s Trump press briefing, and CNN still hasn’t put it on the air. We’ll see if they do eventually tune in for it belatedly, as they did yesterday. But if Pence’s goal was to scare CNN into airing these horrible beings in all their harmful glory, let’s just say that Pence hasn’t succeeded.
