Clarence Thomas makes the mistake of running his mouth

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Right now, there is a plaintive lament going on. It is coming from a certain Supreme Court Justice. That would be Justice Clarence Thomas. Thomas was at an event called the Old Parkland Conference when he made some choice remarks regarding the leaked draft opinion on abortion.

And he compared the leaking of the draft to infidelity. “When you lose that trust, especially in the institution that I’m in, it changes the institution fundamentally,” Thomas said profoundly.

“You begin to look over your shoulder,” the misogynist went on. “It’s kind of like infidelity that you can explain it, but you can’t undo it.” Wonders never cease — the wonder, in this case, being — I didn’t think Thomas could ever top himself in saying stupid things, but he has done so with these remarks.

Thomas then went on to insult his own court — saying in the past, they were like a dysfunctional family. “We may have been a dysfunctional family,” Thomas prattled on, “But we were a family.” Thomas then decided to throw a hissy-fit over protesters.

“You would never visit Supreme Court Justices’ houses when things didn’t go our way,” Thomas exclaimed. “We didn’t throw temper tantrums.” This person sits on the Supreme Court, readers. How tragic is that? It is this writer’s opinion that Clarence Thomas should resign.

Think for a moment about the idiocy — the condescension – the hypocrisy of the bitter Justice’s words. Thomas is married to an insurrection supporter — who supported a NON-PEACEFUL terrorist attack — an attack where people died. This support is apparently OK with the Justice.

Referring to peaceful protesters as having “temper tantrums” is the ultimate in misplaced moral superiority. The Justice’s words are beneath contempt.

Thomas is a poisonous snake masquerading as a human being. He apparently cares nothing for the health and the well-being of women. The dark evil that many of the current Justices have brought to the court has dishonored it — making it a laughing stock.

This writer hopes that the court can be put back together– that it can once again shine its golden light and serve as a beacon of hope. And the way to do that is to pack the court — fumigating the lethal politics of Justices like Thomas — and to do this, we need to vote — and win — in the midterm elections.
