Donald Trump goes completely off the deep end after Chuck Todd destroys him
Meet The Press host Chuck Todd has finally decided to start doing his job in impressive fashion over the past two weeks, sounding the alarm over Donald Trump’s criminal scandals, and calling out Trump’s surrogates when they’ve come on his program and tried to promote lies. This morning Todd destroyed Trump’s GOP Senator puppet, Ron Johnson.
To the surprise of no one, Donald Trump is now having a bonkers meltdown about Chuck Todd. Trump tweeted this crap pile: “Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd of ‘Meet the Press’ had a total meltdown in his interview with highly reaspected Senator Ron Johnson. Seems that a not very bright Chuck just wasn’t getting the answers he was looking for in order to make me look as bad as possible. I did NOTHING wrong!”
To be clear, no one respects Ron Johnson on any level, it was Johnson who had the meltdown, and “sleepy eyes” appears to be an ethnic slur referring to the fact that Chuck Todd is Jewish. Trump’s tweet is as repulsive as it is inaccurate as it is idiotic. It’s also a sign that Trump is truly rattled after seeing Todd dismantling a Trump lackey like Johnson, at a time when Trump’s hapless surrogates continue to make things worse for him.
