Chuck Schumer is absolutely right

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said that Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh are going to “pay the price” for the terrible votes they’re casting. Conservative pundits falsely claimed that Schumer was somehow implying violence, and so most liberal pundits also felt they had to lightly condemn Schumer’s remarks as well. This was a bunch of crap, as it was clear that Schumer was talking about a political price. And he’s actually correct in his prediction.

It’s obvious what Chuck Schumer was saying. Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are casting the kinds of rogue extremist votes that are likely going to drive mainstream Americans to the polls to elect a Democratic President and a Democratic Senate. That means the next few Supreme Court Justices are going to be liberals.

Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are going to lose their majority, and thus they are going to pay the price, as the awful 5-4 rulings they’ve rammed through will start to be reversed. But Kavanaugh could actually pay a far bigger price.

IF Joe Biden becomes President, he’ll appoint Kamala Harris – or someone as tough as her – as Attorney General. There’s no doubt whatever that Harris would bring a criminal case against Brett Kavanaugh for the felony perjury he committed when he lied to her and other Senators under oath during his confirmation process. Kavanaugh’s only hope of remaining out of prison would be to agree to resign in exchange for non-prosecution. So yeah, Kavanaugh could pay a big price.
