Chuck Grassley goes completely off the rails
Republican Senator Chuck Grassley has faded somewhat from the spotlight now that he’s given up his role as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. But he’s still deeply involved in Donald Trump’s scandals, in ways that are still fuzzy at best. Speaking of fuzzy, Grassley just posted a tweet that suggests he may be in need of psychiatric attention.
Here’s what Chuck Grassley tweeted just now: “Pocahontas TM 43ppl issues: Pres Trump Kavanaugh confirmation small refinery waivers tariffs USMCA rural health care electoral college min wage drug prices shld b on tv ads big tech Medicare climate change robocalls ethanol/e15 yr round.”
We double checked to confirm that this really did come from his official verified Twitter account, and not from some parody account. We have no idea what he’s even trying to say here, though the beginning may be a racial slur directed at Elizabeth Warren. We’re guessing that he didn’t mean to refer to someone named “President Trump Kavanaugh” because that would be horrifying beyond words. Not that everything Grassley tweeted – such as “shld b” – even counts as a word.
Chuck Grassley did add the hashtag #99CountyMeeetings so we suppose this is supposed to be some kind of shorthand for the town halls he’s held back home, or something. Or maybe Grassley is signaling the aliens that it’s time for them to come and take him back to his home planet. In any case, Grassley still doesn’t sound as mentally incompetent as his Senate Judiciary Committee Chair replacement Lindsey Graham.
