Fox News host Chris Wallace comes out swinging at Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

For all of the dishonest pro-Trump propaganda that gets spewed on Fox News during primetime hours each night, a few Fox hosts have spent the past several months increasingly calling Trump out for his antics and crimes. Chris Wallace has been one of them. Now, Wallace is letting loose and ripping Donald Trump a new one.

While on the air today, Chris Wallace criticized Donald Trump for attacking the whistleblower. Wallace pointed out that the whistleblower “exactly followed” the correct procedure, and that the CIA Inspector General and the Intelligence Community Inspector General both found the whistleblower’s claims to be credible.

Chris Wallace also went on to slam Donald Trump’s defenders for the “deeply misleading” spin that they’ve been engaging in over the past twenty-four hours. Wallace didn’t name names, but some of his own colleagues at Fox News have been leading the charge when it comes to promoting that deeply misleading pro-Trump spin.

This comes after reports yesterday that Paul Ryan, who now sits on the Fox News board of directors, has begun urging the network to prepare for a post-Trump future, under the premise that Donald Trump is going down. It sounds like Chris Wallace and Shep Smith are already preparing for that post-Trump future. It’s not clear what the Trump apologists on Fox News will do once Trump is taken down and the world moves on.
