Chelsea Clinton comes out swinging
Even as the coronavirus crisis continues to get worse, and projections say the death toll is set to spike, Donald Trump keeps trying to convince us that the danger has largely passed. Trump is also trying to act as unpresidential as possible, in the hope of distracting people from the tragically mounting death toll.
To that end, earlier today Donald Trump yelled “The Fake News has reached an all time high!” He’s done this plenty of times before, but the timing and context are particularly galling. Chelsea Clinton ripped into him over it:
Someone I love very much lost a family member to #covid19 yesterday. Because of your inhumanity, callousness and incompetence we have a new leading cause of death in our country. That’s not fake news, Mr. President. I wish it were. https://t.co/SHp7PnfeeH

Meanwhile, the Clinton Foundation is showing real leadership during the coronavirus crisis:
On #GivingTuesdayNow, these vital partners are working to respond to the complex challenges facing the nation and the world as a result of #COVID19. https://t.co/O26HFabt3m
