Changing the subject
As the rights of women everywhere hover on the brink, Fox News has an urgent concern that has nothing to do with the rights of women. “Who is the leaker?” That’s right. Fox, who appears to desperately want to change the subject, is demanding to know who the leaker is and what the consequences will be for the said leaker.
In my opinion, they should be awarded a gold medal. But I suppose one should have expected this from Fox. For years, the Republican party has used the issue of abortion as a wedge issue. But many of them never ever thought that — gulp — overturning Roe would ever happen.
And now, with this leaked draft opinion, the whole outlook on the midterms has changed. And Fox knows it. But because they’re essentially a propaganda network, they have to find another angle. But alas, things are not working out as the fake news network would like. Women are alarmed. Women are enraged. Not just women — humans are enraged.
Abortion has now become the face of the midterms. There is nothing Fox can do about it. They’re helpless to change the narrative, and they know it.
The majority in America is against Fox. The not-so-silent majority KNOWS that nobody — particularly a few smug Justices — should proclaim themselves Judges and Jurors over women’s bodies. We are not their property. We do not answer them. And what this leaked opinion has done is it unleashed the lions.
Remember my article about being the loudest voice in the room? Well, now we are. We are loud, we are unfiltered, and we will NOT allow these radical minority of abhorrent run-a-way Justices to tell the US how to lead our lives. Protest. Resist. And vote.
