The cavalry is coming

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

One month from today, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn in. One month from today, Donald Trump will be out on his butt. One month from today, Trump will cease having any power over us, and he’ll become eligible for indictment, arrest, and asset forfeiture.

The next month won’t be easy, to say the least. Trump will become less powerful, not more powerful, as the month goes on and he continues to lose what was left of his leverage. But he’s intent on trying to paralyze us with impossible threats, petty revenge, and deranged stunts.

Meanwhile the pandemic continues to get worse as we await the vaccine, the newly discovered hacking means we’ll have to deliver even more of a blow to Russia once Trump is gone, and Republicans are intent on making sure the economy is a mess when Biden takes office. And with all this going on, we have to find a way to win the Georgia runoffs in two weeks.

But the cavalry is coming. The playing field continues to shift away from Trump. And after having fought through this nightmare for four years, we’re now just one month from having control of our country again. In the meantime, the cavalry is us. Let’s hang in there.
