Donald Trump has catastrophic meltdown after Joe Biden locks up the Democratic nomination
As of tonight, Joe Biden is the de facto 2020 Democratic nominee. Bernie Sanders put on a spirited campaign, but his only remaining mathematical path to the nomination would involve magic wands. Considering Donald Trump got himself impeached while trying to prevent Biden from being the nominee, this clearly isn’t good news for Trump.
At about one in the morning eastern time, Donald Trump posted this particularly deranged tweet: “Pocahontas, working in conjunction with the Democrat Party, totally destroyed the campaign of Bernie Sanders. If she would have quit 3 days earlier, Sanders would have beaten Biden in a route, it wouldn’t even have been close. They also got two other losers to support Sleepy Joe!”
We’re not even sure where to start. 1) “Pocahontas” is still a racial slur. 2) The great Elizabeth Warren isn’t conspiring with anyone. 3) If Warren had dropped out three days earlier, it wouldn’t have changed the math; this suggests that Trump can’t do math. 4) The word he’s looking for here is “rout” not “route.” 5) Trump is clearly afraid of Joe Biden. 6) The only “loser” here is Trump.
