“Carnival of idiots!”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Republicans have been described as “The land of misfit toys.” What a fitting name! I think the GOP should officially CHANGE their name to “The Land of Misfit Toys!” So who is the wonderful person or people who came up with this excellent nickname?
It is fox-non-news.

My gosh, it’s happened! After all these years on the air, Fox did something intelligent. Who’d have thunk it? Fox and Friends Host Brian Kilmeade was reporting on the House Speaker vote along with Steve Doocy, Lawrence Jones and Ainsley Earhardt.

They were ostensibly trying to promote Gym as speaker. Instead, they themselves became “The land of misfit toys.” Kilmeade seemed unable to control himself as he burst out with the following regarding his own party.

“What a carnival of idiots. It’s unbelievable.” Yes, it is. Thanks, Brian, for saying how you REALLY feel. Earnhardt then smilingly chimed in. “The land of misfit toys,” she exclaimed, sealing the deal as a wonderful new nickname for the GOP popped into focus.

Fox had better be careful. The last few days have not been good to them. First, there were Hannity’s attempts to strong-arm moderate Republicans. Now, there’s this. But wait! There’s more Fox Everything but the News. Brian Kilmeade, the proverbial fox in the dysfunctional hen-house, was evidently caught on a hot mic referring to Republican Rep. Don Bacon as a “dumbass.”

This actually happened AS THE VOTE was going on, proving the real land of misfit toys is Fox non-news — who can’t seem to report on ANYTHING these days without screwing it all up.
