No one has ever accused Donald Trump Jr of being the sharpest crayon in the box. Even the previously accepted notion of Junior being smarter than his brother Eric had faded, as Junior has shown himself to be the most incompetent traitor of all time. Multiple major media outlets have reported that Trump Jr is telling everyone around him that he thinks he’s about to be indicted. Now suddenly he’s in Canada.
Let’s be clear here: Donald Trump Jr has not run off to Canada to try to avoid arrest. Even he’s not stupid enough to think that he could simply go north of the border and somehow avoid extradition back to the United States. He’s remarkably close to being that stupid, but no, he isn’t trying to flee – and let’s be honest, he’d run to Moscow if he were running. But his little Canada trip is still revealing.
Whenever Donald Trump Jr is feeling stressed out and wants to do something he considers relaxing, he runs off to the Canadian wilderness and murders animals for sport, because that’s apparently what all good psychopaths do for fun. So it does tell us something that, even in the dead of winter and the height of the holiday season, Junior is suddenly taking one of his “stress relief” trips.
It suggests that Donald Trump Jr is not just telling people around him that he thinks he’s about to be indicted because he’s looking for sympathy; he truly thinks he’s about to go down, and he’s trying to squeeze in one last Canada trip while he still can. After all, even if he gets out on bail while awaiting trial, is he going to be allowed to leave the country? This is him taking his last licks. Wait, he’s not actually stupid enough to think he can avoid arrest by hiding in Canada… right?
