Donald Trump campaign headquarters gets forcibly shut down

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump keeps talking about how he’s going to magically reopen the country for business on Easter, April 12th. If he were to do so, he’d be sentencing perhaps hundreds of thousands of Americans to death. Fortunately, Trump doesn’t get to “reopen” the country because he’s not the one who shut anything down to begin with. Now Trump himself is getting shut down.

Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign headquarters is based in Virginia. That’s one of the states that’s been shut down for safety reasons, thanks to Virginia’s responsible Democratic Governor. This means that Trump’s campaign headquarters has been forcibly shut down. CBS News says that lawyers went so far as to inform the Trump campaign that it would be committing a crime by not shutting its doors.

Notably, the Trump campaign headquarters is being shuttered until at least April 24th – a full twelve days after Donald Trump’s stated target date for his phony “reopening” of the country. This guy couldn’t be more delusional. Meanwhile back in the real world, even his own offices are going to shuttered for quite awhile.
