Call him what he is
Donald Trump is once again showing his mental incompetence. Instead of sharks, batteries, and Hannibal Lecter, his new insanity centers around bacon, wind, and boxing. What the hell? I cannot for the life of me see why anyone wants to vote for Donald Trump. He’s not only mentally unstable, but he’s evil. He will bring nothing to the table, and he certainly doesn’t understand economics, but that’s where his team wants his focus. Surely, they also know of his ignorance on the subject and that he would be better off leaving that topic alone.
MSNBC reported that Trump’s recent appearances reveal that he clearly knows nothing about anything. MSNBC said: “Trump’s tenuous grasp of basic math and science was on full display Thursday during campaign stops in Wisconsin and Michigan.” According to Trump, eating less bacon is based on wind power. What is he talking about? His quote is even more confusing: “You take a look at bacon and some of these products. Some people don’t eat bacon anymore. And we are to get the energy prices down. When we get energy down—you know, this was caused by their horrible energy—wind, they want wind all over the place. But when it doesn’t blow, we have a little problem.” MSNBC said they couldn’t even fact check that comment. What’s to fact check? It sounds like what it is—the ramblings of a crazy person. None of them even relate to each other in a way that makes sense, so why bother?
When he’s not putting his ignorance on display, Trump continues to lie. He claimed that 107% of President Biden’s job growth is because of immigrants. What in the hell does “107%” even mean? Again, he was exhibiting his lack of math skills. In Michigan—where he was supposed to talk about the economy—he claimed again that Democrats want to keep abortions legal despite the age of the fetus and even after birth. Again, killing a baby is called infanticide (or murder). No one is doing that, nor do they want to do it. Some women may choose to abort due to birth defects, and others choose to go to term and do what they must do to keep the baby alive, the word “choice” being the operative word. Women, their families, and their doctors must make that choice, not Donald Trump or any other Republican. He then returned to his claim that Algerian boxer and gold medalist Imane Khelif is a trans woman, and further claimed there was a second trans woman and that their participation was “unfair.” MSNBC reported that there were no trans women completing in the Olympics period, let alone boxing.
Trump cannot talk about the economy because he knows nothing about it. His presidency tanked the economy, but he, of course, won’t admit that. Instead of dealing with facts, he peppers his followers with outlandish lies, and they eat it up. We need to ensure that this man never gets anywhere near the White House, or he will finish his destruction of our country.
