BUSTED!
Not only does Donald Trump have a long history of stupid and outrageously offensive comments, there’s basically categories that his imbecilic comments can fit into. One of them is tasteless and awful things he’s had to say about 9/11 and terrorist attacks in general, and that track record alone is why he shouldn’t be trusted anywhere near the White House. He added to that catalog on Tuesday when he insisted that there’s a 100% chance of a terrorist attack happening in America between now and November.
Sure, the presumptive nominee of both respective parties receive intelligence briefings, but Donald Trump still hasn’t clinched the nomination yet, nor did he actually receive this from anyone working for national security – or even remotely involved with Homeland Security. His source was Sean Hannity.
That’s right. These two idiots were openly clamoring for a terrorist attack to happen that Republicans could capitalize on, as they’re trying to do by getting people to care about a border crisis.
While Republicans like to make noise about drugs seized at the border, they’re inadvertently giving away that this means government officials are actually pretty good at doing their jobs in the current administration, so Trump’s ridiculous claim is basically an admission that Republicans really need the current trajectory of things to change for the worse, just so they have a shot at getting elected. That’s really all Republican politics is about right now, and it’s why we need to beat them on Nov 5.
