Confirmed: Lev Parnas is throwing EVERYONE under the bus tonight
Rachel Maddow’s pre-taped interview with Ukraine scandal figure Lev Parnas won’t air for another half hour, but MSNBC and NBC News are already releasing bits and pieces of it in order to hype the interview before it airs. That includes a few clips that have aired on TV already, and a number of quotes posted to NBC’s website.
Here’s a direct quote from Lev Parnas that’s been posted on nbcnews.com: “President Trump knew exactly what was going on … He was aware of all my movements. I wouldn’t do anything without the consent of Rudy Giuliani, or the president. I have no intent, I have no reason to speak to any of these officials.”
Parnas has a good point here. He’s a nobody on the world political stage – or at least he was at the time this scheme was playing out. Why would anyone in the government of Ukraine, or any world player, waste time meeting with a stooge like Lev, unless they had confirmation that he was working for Donald Trump?
MSNBC is also teasing that Lev Parnas has implicated just about everyone in this interview, including Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, Bill Barr, and others. You might want to get your popcorn ready.
