The American experiment has met challenges and obstacles before. And right now, one of the biggest obstacles is right in front of it. That is the Republican party. I wholly concur with both colleagues at Palmer Report and the comments of some readers who say the Republican party needs to end. I, too, believe that.

When a political party collapses — when they no longer do ANY good — then the time has come for them to end. And it would not be the first time a political party in America has collapsed. Remember the Whig party.

The reason the GOP must become extinct is because of both the past AND the present. The American experiment is no sure thing. It will go on only as long we have people loyal to such an experiment who love their country and patriotism. That no longer applies to the Republican party.

What the GOP stands for now is everything the Constitution would turn away from. But the GOP does not care because they want to destroy it. They want to burn down the past. The past must exist in the present to hasten in the future. All of it is important.

And yet the GOP would happily burn it down. They have become corrupt, you see. And once that rot begins to grow, it usually flourishes.

Our freedoms — the freedoms enshrined to us in the Constitution — are all under attack now. Everything America stands for will be put to the test if the GOP wins and is allowed to continue its burning of American history.

We cannot, and we must not let the past burn. We must not allow the Republicans to continue their march, taking away our freedom, independence, and rights. Please TELL people how vital this election is. And vote like your freedom depends on it — because, as you know, it really does.
