Trump building is being torn down

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is such a poor businessman, both his Atlantic City casinos ended up going bankrupt. At the time, Trump insisted that it was because the city itself was going under. But years later, most of the other Atlantic City boardwalk casinos are still alive and kicking.

In fact the Hard Rock just took over the long-defunct Trump Taj Majal, and is in the process of turning it into a nicer property. But Trump’s other failed casino building isn’t being afforded the same fate. Trump Plaza is being imploded, because it’s such a dump, it’s literally falling apart, with chunks of it landing on the boardwalk.

While the upcoming implosion of Trump Plaza is the perfect symbolism for the failure of Donald Trump’s real estate empire and the failure of his presidency, it’s far from the only Trump-branded building to disappear. Several other buildings that had been leasing the “Trump” name in various states have taken the less dramatic approach of simply dropping the Trump name, as he’s become a toxically unpopular pariah.
