Donald Trump sends broken ventilators to blue state

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

Yesterday Donald Trump publicly admitted that he’s letting people in Michigan and Washington die because he doesn’t like their Democratic Governors. Earlier today Trump threatened to quarantine New York City, which he literally can’t even do, in an apparent attempt at revenge against a city that rejected him. Now it turns out Trump has sent hundreds of ventilators to the blue state of California – broken ventilators.

Fortunately, California Governor Gavin Newsom has partnered with fuel cell company Bloom Energy to get the ventilators repaired – and they’ll apparently all be ready for use by Monday:

.

Newsom said “LA received 170 broken ventilators from the national stockpile. Rather than complaining, we put them on a truck, drove them up overnight, and had Bloom Energy get to work fixing them. Monday they‘ll [be] back in LA–fixed. That’s the spirit of CA.”
