– Every single move that Trump has made in office, from economic policy changes, to foreign policy deals involving the countries he owes money to, has been based on keeping his own broke ass out of bankruptcy for another day. Every single move. All of it.
– Chris Wallace’s first debate question for Donald Trump should be, “What is wrong with you?” At this point it’s the question that the majority of Americans want Trump to answer.
– Trump’s taxes. Cambridge Analytica. So far none of the October surprises are going Trump’s way. Yes, there will almost certainly be more surprises. But let’s not fall into the trap of assuming that the biggest “October surprise” is automatically going to benefit Trump. That sure hasn’t been the case so far.
– It’s not about how Trump’s idiot base responds to his tax fraud or the revelation that he’s flat broke. It’s never been about his base. It’s about the people who don’t like Trump and are trying to decide whether to make the effort to go vote him out. Focus on convincing them.
