Brian Williams just destroyed Bill Barr
At a time when so many things are going tragically wrong in the United States, the nation’s “President” Donald Trump is providing the precise opposite of leadership. Now Trump’s Attorney General Bill Barr has found a way to step in and make things even worse.
Bill Barr went on Fox News and insisted that the nation has to get reopened soon, regardless of whatever deadly medical risks might be involved. Barr went so far as to accuse Americans of hiding under their beds in some kind of overreaction to the coronavirus. Meanwhile back in the real world, thousands of Americans are dying per day.
MSNBC host Brian Williams wasn’t in any sort of mood for Barr’s antics. While covering the story on Thursday night, Williams sarcastically referred to him as “Attorney General and noted public health expert Bill Barr.” Later in the segment, Williams quipped that “Dr. Bill Barr weighed in today.” After getting thrashed by Williams and others, maybe Barr will crawl back in his hole until this is over.
