Donald Trump campaign is reportedly investigating Brad Parscale

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

For weeks leading up to Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale’s demotion, there were news reports (and television ads) accusing Parscale of having spent large amounts of campaign money on things like Ferraris and real estate. Last night there were reports that these allegations may have played a role in Donald Trump’s decision to demote him.

Now it turns out the Trump campaign is bringing in someone to investigate the money trail and determine what if any improprieties there may have been. Based on conflicting sources quoted within the same report, it’s not entirely clear if the investigation is into whether Parscale was responsible for financial improprieties, or if Parscale was merely too incompetent to have caught on to various financial improprieties.

What makes this surreal is that Brad Parscale is still working for the Trump 2020 campaign. He was demoted, but he’s still in charge of the campaign’s data operation, which – on paper at least – is a crucial and sensitive area. Of course that could change, depending on the outcome of this internal investigation.

One thing is clear: the Donald Trump 2020 campaign operation is a total joke. No one knows who’s in charge. No one knows where the money is going. The operation barely exists, and considering Trump’s laughably bad poll numbers, the (lack of) results speak for themselves. Trump is running his campaign about as poorly as he ran his bankrupt casinos.
