Bon voyage, Rudy Giuliani!

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There was a time for Rudy Giuliani when he was actually able to command respect. One might not have liked his politics, but for a brief time, he had the respect of the world. This was after 9/11 when Rudy’s approval rating skyrocketed.. In the wake of a tragedy — one of this nation’s worse — there was Rudy, calm, relaxed, and American’s mayor.

That image was fake. Rudy, in all actuality, has long been known for his ruthlessness — and his treatment of women, which hasn’t always left the former mayor smelling like a rose. But these days, Rudy is known for being a quack. He’s looked on as a dimwitted fool. — all because he lost his mind over Donald Trump.

And could he be about to lose his freedom as well? The New York Times reports that Donald and Rudy are panicking because they fear they will both be indicted in Georgia. And they just might be. The Georgia indictments will come down soon. And yes, Rudy and Trump might both be on the list.

When they come down, these indictments are likely to be quite serious. And we all know Trump will indeed lose his mind. He will likely rant and rave and do all the things the failed traitor is known to do. It will all be for naught, though.

But what about Rudy? How will HE react? There is so much irony in the story of Rudy. There was a time when Rudy was braggadocious in how he took down New York criminals and prosecuted those engaged in corruption.

The former Mayor always has liked to run his mouth off a bit. And he did do that regularly many moons ago. So if Rudy is indicted, I expect a colossal meltdown on his part. Incredibly, this man can’t see himself realistically and see what so many others see.

And that is that Rudy — and Trump — are two peas in the same pod. People when seeking friends, often seek out those with similar personality traits. Trump and Rudy share an incredible lot in common — and all of it is bad.
